When is the best time to get a project manager or advisor involved in a project? The best time to get us involved is during or before the acquisition of the development property. Acquiring land with the right variables and at the right price is key to ensuring a project is setup for success. Get this wrong, and you will be trying to recover from this throughout the project. The earlier you can get us involved, the more likely we are to provide pivotal advice for you. If you want assistance with an acquisition but are uncertain about paying any extra costs at this stage, you can engage us for a complimentary site assessment and consultation. We can then give you some key advice to ensure you make the right decision at this pivotal stage. Feel free to email us info@baileydevelopment.co.nz . We look forward to hearing from you.

Is it better to develop myself or invest with an experienced development partner? The answer depends on your risk preferences, skillset and time availability. Our general recommendation if you want to develop yourself would be to bring in the expertise through a project manager. Alternatively you could invest alongside an experienced development partner and use this to ensure you find the right deals, reduce the management burden, and use this to create a track record for successful projects. If you would like to explore a joint-venture with BDP, check out our Investors page for how we do this.
